1965 Mustang
This project started as a 'paint only and the owner will finish' project but as I moved deeper into the car it quickly became obvious this Stang needed more than a little paint.
Work began on the rusted left quarter
The right quarter also needed replacing
Up front even more rust meant replacing the forward apron
The tired 6 will be replaced with a little more power.
Next I rolled the body over and gave it a coating of Eastwood Ceramic Black
Ready for some paint on the exterior
The trunk compartment received a little paint before the new fuel tank went in.
A lot of priming and blocking gets this body nice and straight.
A little blue really sets this car off
The glass is in the car and the doors and hood are installed. Also notice that I have installed all of the front suspension including a much improved power steering gear box.
